Coach Q

Carol is regarded as one of the most respected track and field coaches in the state of New Hampshire. Specializing in speed training, as well as short sprints, hurdles and jumping events, Carol has 15 years of experience working with predominantly high school and collegiate athletes to help them reach and exceed their potential on and off the track. As head coach of the Pinkerton Academy Boys’ Outdoor Track & Field program (and assistant coach of the indoor program), she has led the team to win a total of 13 Division 1 state championships, multiple individual state titles and coached several record-setting relay teams. Additionally, she has coached at regional and national track events, helped 10+ athletes go on to compete at the collegiate level, and improved the speed performance of athletes in other sport programs. She is Level 1 USATF Certified, Level 2 (Sprints, Hurdles and Relays) USATF Certified, Level 1 RPR (Reflexive Performance Reset) Certified, and has been named 2014 & 2017 Boys Track & Field Coach of the Year - New Hampshire USTFCCCA.

When she is not coaching, Carol is enjoying retirement from Concord Hospital, where she worked as a cytologist for 35 years, and spending time with her three grandchildren.

Carol is passionate about running and helping her athletes reach their full potential—whether that’s learning the basics and getting a better understanding of running mechanics, building self-confidence, or taking their running career to the next level.
